Summer Adventure Camp in Manali (6N/7D)
We conduct a Summer Adventure Camp in Manali from September to October and also from end of April to early June every year. The programme ranges between a week to ten days. The camps resemble a tented colony in the lap of nature. It comes with a kitchen of its own.
The summer camp starts with an acclamatization walk around Manali and includes activities such as river-crossing, rock-climbing, rappelling, jungle-walks and soft-trekking. These activities are managed and organized under the supervision and guidance of a mountaineering instructor who is responsible for the day to day running of the camp. Lessons on basics of camping, trekking and other adventure sports are also imparted by the instructor here.
This adventure camp is not only about camping and adventure activities but it also provides you the opportunity to appreciate nature, village, people, culture, tradition, beautiful landscapes, flora-fauna and living in harmony with nature. Well-trained instructors will teach you the technical points of the activities like rock-climbing, rappelling, river-crossing, trekking and camping. All of these activities will help the students in developing certain skills such as leadership qualities, management skills, cooperation, crisis management, mental toughness, problem solving, physical toughness and a positive attitude in life.
