Itinerary

Chandigarh to Shimla

The trip begins with a cozy taxi ride from Chandigarh to Shimla, which usually would take around 4 to 5 hours. It approximately covers 120 kilometers in a route that is replete with beautiful views of hills and valleys. Upon reaching Shimla, check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy the charms of Mall Road and the peaceful setting and visit Christ Church.

Manali Local Sightseeing

Mornings are best started with a visit to the Hadimba Devi Temple, which is around 10 minutes from the town center. From there, drive to Manu Temple and Vashisht Hot Springs, about 15-minutes away. After that, walk through the Van Vihar Park and stop at the Tibetan Monastery. Finally, spend the evening exploring the buzzing Mall Road for shopping and dining.

Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel

Travel a little less than 30 miles outside of town to Solang Valley, where you can enjoy activities such as paragliding, zorbing, and skiing in winter. Visit the Atal Tunnel, which is a 45-minute drive away from Manali, and experience amazing sights of snow-covered peaks. Return to Manali in the evening for an overnight stay.
